Reliable HVAC Services in Erie, CO

Michael at FlatIrons Heating and Air was absolutely wonderful. Our HVAC's (we have 2 of them) are about 30 years old and I seem to get the 'hard upsell to all new HVAC gear whenever someone comes to fix an issue. I told Michael this as we were scheduled the appointment and he replied (in a very 'matter of fact way') ... "Let's just see what's going on, but we can usually get them working again." SO NICE that I found someone who was willing to just come fix it for a fair price and move on... When he arrived... He did all of the 'basics' right. (Threw on shoe covers, explained things slowly, was super clean, etc.). He then spent a ton of time diagnosing the system and clearly knew a TON about HVAC's. I could tell the poor guy was super stressed out when he told me that my AC had, in fact, completely given up the ghost and a new one really was going to be required. He worked so hard to make it so this wouldn't be the case and didn't even charge me a trip fee. AFTER CHECKING WITH 2 OTHER HVAC CONTRACTORS in a desperate hope to avoid my $35,000 reality - I learned he was right. One of the units absolutely had to be replaced and I have maybe 1-2 years on the other one; so (woof...) it's time. When I finally confronted reality, Micheal put together a great bid and has been super chill (no pun intended), professional, and ... just kind ... throughout the entire process. It's SO NICE to work with someone who is just ... well ... a nice person. Smiling. Courteous, Empathetic, willing to just do great work for an honest price, and - oh yeah --> knows his stuff. Help him build his business! I don't think you'll regret it. :)

Michael's knowledge of a/c systems and troubleshooting skills are top notch. And the service was excellent. We're glad we chose Flatirons!
